Democratic Republic of the Congo Corridor Transport Study

Client: World Bank

CARANA conducted an in-depth study of the trucking industry in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, trucking operations along the two main import-export corridors, the logistics process along the corridors, and border-crossing procedures. Through interviews with trucking companies, other industry stakeholders, traders, trucking operatives along the corridors, and control officials, CARANA gathered data to generate statistics required by the World Bank Trade Facilitation Project. This data led to practical recommendations to improve road transport.
