SEGIR Global, Business, Trade and Investment (GBTI) II Indefinite Quantity Contract

CARANA is pleased to continue collaborating with USAID on the Support for Economic Growth and Institutional Reform (SEGIR) GBTI II. CARANA and our subcontractors will provide a full range of services to USAID/Washington and USAID Missions throughout the world. Our support will encompass all major areas of business, trade, and investment development and reform—particularly on devising and implementing robust strategies to promote real economic growth, reduce poverty, graduate transitional countries from aid to trade, promote open competitive markets, develop the private sector, and mobilize private financing. CARANA’s GBTI II consortium includes a significant number of woman-owned, minority-owned, veteran-owned, and disadvantaged small businesses, academic institutions, not-for profit organizations, and other private firms that will provide specific technical expertise. CARANA is also a subcontractor to The Mitchell Group, a minority-owned small business that is a GBTI II contract recipient.

Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) Schedule

CARANA Corporation offers professional services through the GSA Federal Supply Schedule for Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS). MOBIS is a flexible and relatively simple contracting vehicle that is available to all agencies of the Federal Government. MOBIS gives government agencies easy access to a wide range of CARANA’s development consulting, facilitation, survey, privatization, program integration, and project management services. CARANA Corporation offers professional services under five MOBIS Special Item Numbers (SINs): 1) SIN 874-1: Consulting Services, 2) SIN 874-2: Facilitation Services, 3) SIN 874-3: Survey Services, 4) SIN 874-6: Privatization Support Services and Documentation (A-76), and 5) SIN 874-7: Program Integration and Project Management Services.

RAISE Plus Indefinite Quantity Contract

CARANA is a member of Abt Associates' consortium for the RAISE Plus Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The IQC is is a broad-based, multi-faceted, USAID field support mechanism to provide short- and long-term technical assistance that promotes the systemic shifts necessary to achieve more competitive and sustainable agricultural and rural sectors in developing countries. RAISE Plus focuses on environmentally sustainable, market-driven development of food and cash crops, livestock, forests, fisheries, tourism, wildlife, and agribusinesses. CARANA’s collaboration is premised on our ability to provide short-, medium-, or long-term expertise at the level of sector, industry, value chain, commodity, or theme with the goal of accelerating economic development, raising rural incomes, creating wealth, and reducing hunger.

Public Financial Management (PFM) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity

CARANA is a member of the Crown Agents USA consortium for the Public Financial Management Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The IQC is a broad-based, multi-faceted, mechanism to empower USAID missions to engage in public financial management reforms and other economic policy and institutional reform/modernization projects by enabling USAID to procure short- and long-term services through a structured and easy-to-use procurement system; to accumulate the intellectual and technical resources necessary to better understand, and thereby help overcome, economic policy and institutional constraints to economic growth; and to advance state-of-the-art practices within the international donor community by making useful contributions to development theory and practice. CARANA’s collaboration is premised on our ability to provide short-, medium-, or long-term expatriate and national expertise in financial markets and institutions, economic analysis and design of regulatory policy, poverty analysis, trade policy, and financial controls and auditing among other disciplines.
