CARANA Corporation (www.carana.com) is seeking an experienced, dynamic and innovative Chief of Party for pending projects in Southeast Asia to assist local enterprises compete in domestic, regional, and international markets. Responsibilities may include: leading efforts to improve export promotion, trade facilitation, business development services, and the enabling business environment; facilitating SME development and development of business support associations; and performing market-linkages.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in economics, business management, law, or other relevant field
• At least ten years of managerial experience in business management, competition law, and economics or sectoral expertise in competitiveness, value chain assessments, industry cluster development, job and employment promotion, agribusiness, textiles and apparel, tourism promotion, foreign direct investment and investment promotion, SME development, monitoring and evaluation, and communications
• At least 5 years experience as a Chief of Party of USAID-funded projects preferred
• Proven success managing competitiveness project(s)
• Demonstrated ability to advise, liaise, and manage working relationships with high-level officials and stakeholders
• Southeast Asia work experience preferred
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
