The Palestine Investment Conference (PIC) 2010, “Investing in Palestine:  Empowering Small and Medium Enterprises” was held on June 2-3 at the Convention Palace in Bethlehem and was attended by over 2,000 international and national visitors.

CARANA's Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Project (EDIP) and its US-based team worked closely with USAID to coordinate logistics, public outreach, and media activities for the PIC as well as identify multinational and US-based companies to participate. 

The PIC is an essential part of EDIP's program activities.  EDIP follows a market-led strategy, connecting Palestinian firms with local and global markets, using the ensuing feedback to identify obstacles to competitiveness and expansion, and then leveraging project and partner resources to deliver solutions.
